1. CHEMINS D'HISTOIRE BATTLEFIELD TOURS

Chemins d'Histoire is a legally registered Battlefield travel company specializing in the Great War. We offer 1 or 2-day tours of the Western Front and are happy and proud to share with you our expertise.

The tours could be entirely made to measure and according to your nationality (Australian, Canadian, American, South African, etc...). The tours are conducted in a luxurious Mercedes V-Class air-conditioned minibus. CHBT Public transport license: 2015/22/0000452.

2. VILLAGE DES METIERS D'ANTAN & MUSEE MOTOBECANE

This is not to be missed when visiting St Quentin - a short bus ride from the town center.

All of the traditional professions are beautifully presented in a series of screens that show off authentic and atmospheric and evoke everyday life in France in the past - about shops and businesses and transport - one Wonderful and nostalgic record - along with Motobécane bikes and motorcycles. Produced in St Quentin.

3. PARC D'ISLE JACQUES BRACONNIER

We showed up on the way to the basilica to fill an hour, the park was much better than we expected and was very picturesque with leaves passing through the lake and a few amusement parks. Separate scattered in the fascinating park of all ages.

Very well kept play areas and lots of open space & benches. There is a small farm area, with various small animals - all well looked after including wallabies, goats, emu's, Guinea pigs, donkeys, etc..

The attraction is free with parking also free and outside the entrance - would certainly make the effort to revisit.

4. BASILIQUE DE SAINT-QUENTIN

The interior of this Church is beautiful and interesting. I visited just prior to service and was made very welcome by the congregation. The exterior does not prepare you for a lovely interior.

5. L'HOTEL DE VILLE DE SAINT-QUENTIN

We did not actually go into the town hall but whilst eating in the square we were entertained by a superb carillon concert.

6. OFFICE DE TOURISME DU SAINT-QUENTINOIS

The staff were very helpful and recommend good restaurants in the area. They recommend the Troubador to us for a bistro with excellent local cuisine and they were not wrong to thank you for your feedback. It is our pleasure to introduce you to our destination.

We are trying to recommend the restaurant according to your wishes and needs. We are delighted that Troubadour was a good choice for you. See you later in Saint-Quentin.

7. MUSEE ANTOINE LECUYER

Art lover, I was not disappointed with this beautiful visit. There is something for all styles. In addition, the price is very democratic.

8. CHEMIN DE FER TOURISTIQUE DU VERMANDOIS

A lovely restored steam train that departs from the main station in St Quentin on a Sunday afternoon, just after 2 pm. Runs an hour and a half through the countryside, waits for about 20 minutes and trundles back again.

It was a lovely day when we went, the scenery was beautiful and it was a great afternoon. But it might be a bit long for very young children without some things to keep them occupied. And make sure you have cash as they don't take cards.

9. BUFFET DE LA GARE

From the moment we heard about this buffet! But after booking a guided tour with the tour office (thank you for the very relevant advice!), Go there. And there ... we have full eyes !! Our tutorials are very interesting and make us go back in time.

Bravo for not deforming this place with modern equipment! We will put our friends there for sure! Remember to make a reservation at the travel office!

10. ROYAL KIDS SAINT QUENTIN

We enter the facility, do not have access and do not provide any assistance. When we approached the staff, we felt uncomfortable. We note that some English brochures are out of stock, and therefore feel the available resources are poor.
