1. Railay Beaches & Caves

Railay is one of Thailand's most sought-after beach areas. Just south of Ao Nang and accessible only by boat, Railay represents a world of timeless tranquility.

In just a small peninsula, you'll find four beautiful white sand beaches, soaring limestone cliffs, views, caves and a lagoon hidden inside the cliffs. No wonder it’s one of the most visited places in Krabi.

2. Koh Poda

Koh Poda is one of the most famous islands in the Krabi archipelago. Located just six kilometers from the coast of Ao Nang, it takes about 25 minutes to get there by longtail boat.

Covered with palm trees and pines and almost entirely surrounded by a soft, white sand beach, it's a beautiful tropical getaway. A reef is located about 20 meters from the beach with a variety of marine creatures.

3. The Emerald Pool

Krabi is famous for being an area of outstanding natural beauty. Another must-see list is Thung Teao Forest, Nature Park. It’s a lowland forest rich in bio-diversity, complete with a nature trail.

4. Koh Hong

Stay away all at Koh Hong, off the coast of Krabi. Spend your day doing nothing but staring at the virgin sand. This amazing group of islets offers breathtaking scenery, soft white sand beaches, beautiful coral reefs, and lagoons.

It can enjoy swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, sunbathing, hiking and picnicking.

5. Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave)

Part of the temple complex where monks live and worship in a maze of natural caves surrounded by lush jungle. Inside one of the caves is what appears to be a tiger figure printed in stone. The main tourist attraction, however, is the 1,272-step climb up a limestone tower to see the 'footprint of the Buddha'.

6. Phi Phi Islands

The Phi Phi islands are some of the loveliest in Thailand. Located just a 90-minute ferryboat ride from Krabi Town, you’ll find here all that’s required to spend the ultimate tropical holiday. The main things to do go from snorkeling to rock climbing, and from scuba diving to hiking.

Phi Phi Don is also famous for its festive atmosphere, and it hosts a wonderful dining scene.

7. Koh Tup & Koh Mor

The popularity of Koh Tup and Koh Mor is due to their specific shape. They are linked by a sandbar which also leads to Koh Kai, a third island, at low tide. Apart from this unique walk, and from the excellent snorkeling opportunities, there’s not much to do here.

There’s just a short hike to Koh Tup's summit which offers a cool viewpoint to the other islands around.

8. Klong Thom Hot Springs

Klong Thom Hot Springs is located in the jungle near the Khao Phra Bang Khram Nature Reserve. Ancient volcanic chambers are the origin of these thermal springs. They are believed to ease a number of ailments such as rheumatism, sciatica and other skin problems.

They provide a pleasant time, bathing in warm water surrounded by a pristine lush environment.

9. Krabi Town

Krabi town is very charming, comfortable and very awake. Tourism has arrived, but Krabi Town doesn't jump around to get foreigners in. As the main commercial and transshipment point of the province, not necessary. For those interested in a dose of genuine Thai culture and hospitality, sticking around Krabi Town for a bit is a rewarding experience.

10. Ao Luk Mangroves

Ao Luk Mangrove Forest and Caves are a great area to explore and experience soft adventure in Krabi province. Ao Luk District is located some 40km north of Krabi Town on the road to Phang Nga Town. It enjoys an outstandingly preserved natural environment.
