1. Beaches
Anyone who has ever been to Phu Quoc will tell you that it's hard to believe that there are so many beautiful and desolate beaches in one place. The triangular island has many good beaches, like Long Beach in the west, which is also the largest and home to most hotels. Sao Beach, on the east coast, is a favorite spot - possibly the best beach on Phu Quoc.
Its fine white sand has many fans and most of the time you can expect clear turquoise water - an example like a postcard of a tropical beach. Some others worth checking out are Ong Lang, Bai Thom, and Bai Dai. Many beaches on the island are not marked on the map very well. Go explore - search and you will find.
2. Cao Dai Temple Phu Quoc
Cao Dai Temple is an interesting religious place on Phu Quoc Island, boasting bright technology and the relics of famous religions from around the world. Founded in 1919, Cao Daism is a monotheistic religion that combines Hinduism, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Christianity, and Islam.

3. Dinh Cau Rock (Cau Temple)
Stone Bridge, also known as Temple Covered Bridge, is a strange natural formation on Phu Quoc Island, where local fishermen pray before starting fishing excursions. Located right next to Duong Dong fishing port, it has a colorful lighthouse and Buddhist temple, making it a popular photo spot for tourists.

4. Dogs
Around the island, you can't help but notice the dogs with Mohawk running along the length of their backs. They are the Phu Quoc Ridgeback dog a recognized breed originating on the island.
There are only two other dog breeds in the world that have a particularly similar Mohawk, they are native to Thailand and southern Africa. Phu Quoc Ridgeback dogs were originally wild dogs, over time, domesticated for hunting.
5. Duong Dong Market
Duong Dong Market is the largest and busiest outdoor market in Phu Quoc Island, where visitors can experience the local lifestyle and buy a variety of fresh produce on their vacation. Set along Tran Phu Street, Duong Dong Market features a wet zone that’s set close to Duong Dong Port, where you can see throngs of fishing.

6. Ham Ninh Fishing Village
On the east coast of the island is Ham Ninh, an ancient and sleepy fishing village. The locals will be pleased to see you, especially if you buy some of their pearls.
7. Long Beach Phu Quoc
Long Beach is a 20 km long coastal area on Phu Quoc Island, where you can find seaside resorts, beachfront restaurants, cafes and bars with spectacular sunsets. Also known as Bai Truong, the beach is still relatively pristine with many palm trees and soft sand.

8. Pagodas and Temples
There are a number of temples and temples on the island that provide insights into Buddhism. In Duong Dong town, Sung Hung Pagoda is surrounded by large trees. A well-known monk built Hung Long Tu Pagoda.
He chose the site, located 5km from Duong Dong Town, for its peace and tranquillity. There are several other temples scattered around the island that welcome visitors, however, you should not have bare shoulders or wear shorts when you visit.
9. Pepper Plantations
Vietnam is the world's leading exporter of black pepper and the best quality harvest comes from Phu Quoc. Farms can be seen throughout the central and northern parts of the island. Foodies can take a guided tour of a pepper farm to see the whole process in detail.
10. Phu Quoc National Park
Phu Quoc National Park covers more than half of the northern area of Phu Quoc Island, where adventurous travelers can enjoy a range of outdoor activities during tropical holidays.
Declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2010, this gigantic natural attraction spans an area of unique flora and fauna, more than 000 square meters, evergreen forests and dense mountain ranges.
