1. ZOOMARINE
Since 2009, Zoomarine Italy is the first Italian Park to be awarded a "zoo", in compliance with Decree 73/2005 of the Law and today, this is the only Park in Italy approved by AMMPA - Public Union Mammals and Aquariums accredited - The International Association, which brings together all the structures that ensure high-quality standards for the animals they store and promotes the conservation of species through education and research programs.
Zoological areas are located in a beautiful environment, characterized by the presence of typical Mediterranean vegetation, trees, and bushes. Zoomarine only hides animals born in parks or in the zoological structures of the EAZA (European Zoo and Aquarium Association) and organizes them according to the most stringent international standards.

2. MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO LAVINIUM
It is a small museum but with some beautiful and unique works like statues from early Roman times very early. Worth a visit.
3. CIMITERO MILITARE GERMANICO
We had to really hunt for this cemetery, but I had read about it and after visiting Anzio and Nettuno we wanted to visit this one also. It's impressive in a very Germanic way-the cross is from a square, carved block of grey granite.
Each one has 3 graves on each side,6 to a cross, and crosses stretch on and on, on both sides of the central walkway. Over 27000 are buried here. It's thought-provoking, even if we naturally think they were the "enemy", but as so many of the other reviews say with wisdom, they were soldiers fighting for their ideals, and at the end, for their lives.
There's nothing morbid about visiting these war Cemeteries. It is a very humble experience and will make us aware of the price of peace and the foolishness of the people often paid for by young people.
4. RACCOLTA MANZU
The museum is located 32 km through Laurentina, a short distance from the town of Ardea and stands inside the park of the mansion where the artist lives and where his tomb is still, always honored with fresh flowers.
The directions to get are few and only found near the museum. Free parking is available outside the park and the museum entrance is also free. It practically consists of two large rooms, divided by stalls, and doesn't take much time to visit it.
Inside there are many works of sculptors/artists, including sketches. During this period, some of Fontana's creations were well placed. To visit if you are in the area.
