1. ZOOMARINE

Since 2009, Zoomarine Italy is the first Italian Park to be awarded a "zoo", in compliance with Decree 73/2005 of the Law and today, this is the only Park in Italy approved by AMMPA - Public Union Mammals and Aquariums accredited - The International Association, which brings together all the structures that ensure high-quality standards for the animals they store and promotes the conservation of species through education and research programs.

Zoological areas are located in a beautiful environment, characterized by the presence of typical Mediterranean vegetation, trees, and bushes. Zoomarine only hides animals born in parks or in the zoological structures of the EAZA (European Zoo and Aquarium Association) and organizes them according to the most stringent international standards.

Zoomarine is a leader of Amusement Park in Italy and it is part of the touristic pole of the city of Rome.

2. MUSEO ARCHEOLOGICO LAVINIUM

It is a small museum but with some beautiful and unique works like statues from early Roman times very early. Worth a visit.

3. CIMITERO MILITARE GERMANICO

We had to really hunt for this cemetery, but I had read about it and after visiting Anzio and Nettuno we wanted to visit this one also. It's impressive in a very Germanic way-the cross is from a square, carved block of grey granite.

Each one has 3 graves on each side,6 to a cross, and crosses stretch on and on, on both sides of the central walkway. Over 27000 are buried here. It's thought-provoking, even if we naturally think they were the "enemy", but as so many of the other reviews say with wisdom, they were soldiers fighting for their ideals, and at the end, for their lives.

There's nothing morbid about visiting these war Cemeteries. It is a very humble experience and will make us aware of the price of peace and the foolishness of the people often paid for by young people.

4. RACCOLTA MANZU

The museum is located 32 km through Laurentina, a short distance from the town of Ardea and stands inside the park of the mansion where the artist lives and where his tomb is still, always honored with fresh flowers.

The directions to get are few and only found near the museum. Free parking is available outside the park and the museum entrance is also free. It practically consists of two large rooms, divided by stalls, and doesn't take much time to visit it.

Inside there are many works of sculptors/artists, including sketches. During this period, some of Fontana's creations were well placed. To visit if you are in the area.

5. MUSEO STORICO DEL SERVIZIO AEREO DELLA GUARDIA DI FINANZA

The Italian Custom Police Aviation Service Museum is a good opportunity to learn more about Flight operations and Missions performed by the GdiF crew over a period of 100 years. it is possible to see and visit a collection of perfectly restored helicopters and airplanes, along with Flying helmets, Flying suits, equipment, and weapons.

For simulator enthusiasts, it would be possible to try the feeling of flight Seating at the control of a flying simulator. The Museum is free entry with access for disabled people and toilets.

A large collection of book and tech manuals and more than 2,000 digital pictures are available for researchers and historians. Please take note that not-Italian people must book the visit in the last 40 days before.

6. RUTULI VINEYARD

I note that Terra dei Rutuli is not located in the municipality of Pomezia but is entirely located in the municipality Ardea said it is an excellent company that produces the highest quality wines including Merlot, present in the Various territorial events to enhance their products, very professional and hospitable.

7. TORRE CIVICA

A tower in a square in Pomezia. Rebuilt after a collapse, it was unfortunately filthy dirty, too bad. It is not worth it.

8. CHIESA DI SAN BENEDETTO

This example of rational architecture in this church in Pomezia. Simple roads both outside and inside were built during the reclamation of the Pontine countryside.

9. VATICAN, SISTINE CHAPEL, AND ST. PETER'S TOUR

You will skip the lines and skim through our private Partner Entrance, thanks to our official partner status. Our VIP doors allow us to shave hours away from the usual wait times during peak seasons. The Vatican Museum is unlike any other. That is why you are there. It has an extra special sauce that other museums will exchange a star exhibit for. You are in the HQ of a major world religion.

It is in its own special country. There are 70,000 artworks in rooms that are works of art themselves. The last thing you need is someone boring you to death with facts you could have googled about Michelangelo.
