1. Club Quarters Hotel in Philadelphia
Usually, I would stay near the Convention Center at one of the Hilton’s there. This hotel’s location was great. Walking distance to everything and great reception staff at the hotel.
I had booked my reservation on a Chinese app and was very happy it worked plus I could leave a cash deposit which came in handy for a late checkout, etc.
I was happy with my room which was on the small side but quite clean. I stayed there for six days and would stay again.
I also didn’t have to wait until 3 pm which was a nice surprise. I would have been happy to do so. Friendly staff and guests. I think the other atmosphere in Philadelphia rubbed off on guests.
It was buzzing this time. I had lived there for years and was in town to see friends and family. Club Quarters was a great place to unwind after busy days and evenings.
2. The Windsor Suites
We were very happy with our stay here, perfect location and very stylish and super clean hotel. We had the warmest welcome from Stephanie at the reception with Beth. Stephanie was very helpful, friendly and honest when answering any of our questions about this area.
She was a breath of fresh air to be so welcoming to us on our first stay in Philly.
We had received a very surprising but appreciated free upgrade. Would highly recommend staying here! The bed was so comfortable and the view was lovely to look out onto. No issues throughout our stay and will definitely be back again! Thank you for having us!
3. Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore
The staff is very friendly. Easy online check-in. Pretty good size room, comfortable beds and very clean. Breakfast selection is great as well. Very accommodating to our request for early check-in and late checkout.
4. Pocono Palace Resort
We stayed at the Selected Champagne Tower at Pocono Palace from Thursday, June 2, 20-Sunday, September 2, 20, to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. The room is very beautiful. Even more beautiful than online images.
We didn't use the sauna or the side massage table but enjoyed our heart-shaped pool and look forward to the champagne hot tub every night. We carry a lighter, Dumont's fire diary and a bubble bath so we don't have to buy more at the gift shop even though it comes with a small log of Dumont and a bubble bottle and a matchbook.
The trail of rose petals leading to the bed was a very nice touch with a heart-shaped out of pedals on the bed and a small box of candies next to it with a note I asked them to write. Breakfast and dinner were good.
Breakfast was always buffet and dinner was sit down at times but still all you can eat. Dress attire was casual. Everyone was super nice and they were on point with anything you needed or wanted.
The entertainment was amazing. They kept you busy with fun games to play or shows to watch during the day or you could do your own thing with so many free amenities that came with the package.
Friday night was probably the best with a D.J. and three comics that were absolutely hysterical. The good thing about that location is that Mount Airy Lodge is about 25 minutes away so we were able to go to the casino there.
There was also a Dairy Queen, Dunkin Donuts and a lot of stores nearby. We did not utilize the room service. This vacation was well worth every penny. My boyfriend and I had a great time and are looking forward to going back.
5. Valley Forge Casino Resort - Casino Tower
We stayed here overnight and thought the hotel was very beautiful. The room is large and clean. The bed is very comfortable. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker and television. Nice but small casino. A few places to eat are good.
6. Ledges Hotel
The waterfalls are very beautiful and there are different levels outside to enjoy them from different perspectives. The food is delicious! I recommend the steak. They serve small disks so be sure to place a lot of different things. We will definitely be back!
7. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lancaster (Amish Country), PA
They are welcoming and satisfying all our needs. I loved the cookies and always had coffee available in the lobby. The rooms are clean. Noticed they were renovating some of the rooms. We will definitely be returning!
8. Hampton Inn Philadelphia Center City - Convention Center
We were in the city to explore and enjoy the weekend. This location is perfect for walking anywhere. Newly renovated rooms. The breakfast was delicious but Tamara, the host of the breakfast was very interesting! Put a smile on our face! Will stay!
9. Pittsburgh Plaza Hotel
Nice clean hotel at a good price!! Stayed 2 nights and had no complaints. Everything nice and clean and the beds are really comfortable!! If I go back there I’ll definitely have this place in mind. It’s just out of the main town but just a few miles from all the sporting events.
10. Quality Inn - East Stroudsburg POCONOS
This was the cheapest place we could find to stay.. so we really thought that it wasn't going to be that nice..but man was we blown away! There was a beautiful fireplace in the lobby with comfortable benches, where I could comfortably do my business. The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was great.
