1. Park City Peaks Hotel
Peaks provide a shuttle to both Deer Valley and Park City. The room is comfortable and remodeled. It has almost everything you'll need, free parking, breakfast, cookies and hot chocolate.
You can use ski equipment rental on-site, ski storage, restaurant, gym, inside / outside pool, steam room, sauna, and hot tub. It would be perfect if they provide kids with activities. We will be back for upcoming trips.
2. Hyatt Place Salt Lake City - Downtown
The room is very clean, the thermostat is very sensitive to heat, the hotel parking is on-site and convenient to access the hotel. Breakfast is a step on the continental style, offering hot items including bacon/sausage/eggs, a well-stocked and clean self-service area.
3. Best Western Plus Landmark Inn
I didn't book in advance and was very grateful that the receptionist at midnight found me a room for 3 nights on this MLK long weekend. The hotel I booked was not around and I found Best Western nearby and drove there.
The room I have is spacious with a large window. The bathroom had liquid shampoo, soap, conditioner, and body wash in containers affixed to the wall. Room heating is adjustable and comfortable.
The free breakfast offers a range of items including bananas, oranges, and apples. A hot tub and an indoor swimming pool was a busy place after ski hours. A free shuttle bus takes you to the nearby transport hub, where a free city bus takes you to the ski fields.
Within walking distance are fast-food restaurants and shopping centers. A great location, good facilities, and it were there when I needed a place!
4. Cable Mountain Lodge
The perfect room for three adults. Bedroom plus sofa pull out. There is a kitchen. Beautiful views of the mountains. Just a very short walk to the park entrance. Back to the hotel, there is a small market and a restaurant/pub that only serves beer and wine.
It is Utah. So BYOB! We stayed at the hotel just before Christmas. Everything was decorated for the holiday.
5. Inn on the Cliff
Excellent service and great food, the beautiful views of St George, I would highly recommend this to the couples, we will come here again on our next anniversary! Great selection on the menu, this is our first time at this restaurant and my husband and I were impressed.
6. Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites Salt Lake City - Downtown
The rooms are a very good size. I had everything we needed. The room we had a small lounge with a coffee table and a 2 person table and chairs. Bathrooms are small but that didn't bother us more living space is much better.
The rooms had a coffee machine. We want simple black tea and can get it downstairs. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Plenty of sitting room. We did notice there were a lot of homeless people in the street behind the hotel but only came across them because we went to the service station.
We walked to the temple etc. but if you have children, I would recommend driving. My only thing was we wish it was a little closer to the center. I loved Salt Lake City as a place to stay. I had a great stay at the Crystal Inn.
7. Abbey Inn & Suites
Everything you need and want in a hotel stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had adjoining rooms for our family of five, which worked perfectly. The breakfast was far above average - with local bacon! We will definitely be back.
