1. Hotel Cofortel
I chose Hotel Cofortel for four consecutive nights in December 2019 for my family-related visit to Quebec City. The location of the hotel is the main reason for me to choose this accommodation.
It was located right off the highway exit and a 10-minute drive to my in-law’s home. Booking was a simple and simple process and I used booking.com. The breakfast rate included as well.
We arrived quite late on the 24th and quickly got assigned to a room and key tasks. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful, less during the day, I didn't see her leave the chair, nor did she smile once during our stay. Therefore, lower my rating.
This is a two-story hotel, our hostel-style and room are on the first floor with outside access to the parking lot. We can park just outside our room and unload our car.
The bedroom of our room featured a soft but very comfortable king-size bed with five pillows of varying softness and sheets and comforter of excellent quality (clean with no stains or holes).
A work desk with chair, dresser, flat-screen television with satellite, two chairs and two nightstands with lamps. Bathrooms feature a bath/shower combination with abundant hot water and large water pressure. The towels are big and clean.
Additional amenities provided in our room are a safety deposit box, an iron, a Keurig machine with coffee, tea, ice cream and sweeteners, and a mini-fridge. Strong Wi-Fi and a business center with internet-enabled computers with a printer are available for all hotel guests.
In the mornings, breakfast consisted of hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit salad, bread and spreads, cereal, milk, juice, and coffee. The breakfast was full and the service was excellent every morning throughout our stay.
We had no trouble staying and the hotel was well located within walking distance to many restaurants as well as shopping centers.
2. Hotel du Vieux-Quebec
My daughter and I decided this was the hotel for us on our Mother/Daughter trip to Vieux Quebec. We were exceedingly pleased with our choice!
We wanted to stay in the old town, within walking distance of historical sights, restaurants, pubs, and shops. For that, this location was perfect.
We were exceedingly pleased with the level of service, the fabulous breakfast hung in a basket on our door each morning, the lounge with a fireplace for relaxing with complimentary tea and coffee, and the courteous, helpful staff.
Our room was large, immaculate, extremely comfortable, including tea and coffee makers, as well as a small refrigerator. This will definitely be our hotel of choice in this city on our next visit!
3. Hotel Acadia
Awesome awesome awesome !!!! This is a very good hotel. Cozy small rooms with great views over the bustling streets of Old Quebec City. The location is not comparable with what I can see (the perfect location) and the friendly staff speaks French and English.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the City because it's beautiful and affordable within walking distance to all areas and entertainment. 8.2 / 10 ability points.
4. Hotel Alt Quebec
Never disappointed.....great/ friendly service and love having the amazing restaurant downstairs...Sad to see the Starbucks next door close but one close by in the Mall! Handy free parking and lots of other restos nearby as well as tons of shopping.
5. Hotel & Suites Le Dauphin Quebec
Good value for the price. The pool was a little small but the splash pad was a bonus. Breakfast may have used some meats such as sausages or bacon but is generally decent. Like the fact that there was free juice and coffee bar.
Location is ideal because you can go anywhere from there.
