1. Hotel Verde Zanzibar - Azam Luxury Resort and Spa
I like your room conditions, surrounding environments are attractive as well as your meals. Also, I liked your logistics is quite well, workers are so charming and friendly. I would advise your service to include DStv programs for watching international sports.
2. Kasha Boutique Luxury Hotel
We had a fantastic time there. Super clean, spacious bungalow with private pool.
The hotel's swimming pool is just a beauty with ocean views. Access to the hotel is difficult but they are building a new road that needs to be completed soon.
Another important highlight is that the Manager is very kind and helpful. We will miss him.
Food is a bit expensive, but it is good quality food compared to what you can eat out. No wifi in the room, only in the lobby but it didn’t bother us. I recommend and will def stay again there.
3. Zanzibar Retreat Hotel
We are greeted by Klaus, who is simple and appears what you see as what you get. He didn't jump around catering to stuff but was cool and laid back. My friend AC didn't work too well and he found that his fridge was missing!!
Other than that the pool, staff snd food was above average. A little pricy but beggars can't be chosen I reckon. We found an amazing band and digs the first night not very far away.
4. Pongwe Beach Hotel
We cannot review this highly enough! We have been living in the area since 2008 and we have to leave a comment for the Pongwe Beach hotel because for us it is the BEST! A "secret" is kept secret !!
They pay close attention to the details and what they achieve here, comfortably, is difficult to achieve on Zanzibar. The setting, in a small coral cliff bay, is unusual for Zanzibar and the whole layout of the hotel is designed so beautifully.
The staff are the best we've ever experienced, the food is the same, and the newly updated rooms are just exquisite. Every room has a fantastic location on or by the beach. You will love the Pongwe beach hotel, can't recommend it highly enough !!!!
In addition, we stayed with a 1-year-old child last year and a 2-year-old child this year, this place is family-friendly but also peaceful for everyone.
5. Zanzibar Serena Hotel
We were very impressed with this hotel - the furniture, the décor, and the charm and the layout was very, very good. Also, the location is perfect. It sits on the beach, watching the sunset every night. They have this happy hour
Sunday and local live music that you cannot beat. Morning for breakfast you have the sea breeze cooling through the restaurant while you sip Fresh fruit mimosas, also known as Champassion on the white linen table. Great service as well.
Rooms are tastefully made with balconies overlooking the pool and ocean. How reliable!
